My partner and I are interested in starting a day nursery for young children. We have a child of our own and are expecting another one shortly. Could anyone who runs a nursery or work in one share some of their experience with us? Both me and my partner have plenty of business experience and would like to put this into a business of our own.

maybe tell us where you live as that will affect what legislation applies
I work in childcare supporting an area of pre-school providers
Contact your local council first and they will tell you the required legislation, qualifications etc
and the necessary backgrounds checks for staff etc
